Veenendaal, The Netherlands, May 2022— STAEDEAN has launched the Production Execution Package for Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP to meet over-picking needs in warehouse management. Over-picking for production orders is quite common in manufacturing companies in order to pick whole pallets or cartons.
The value-add offered by STAEDEAN’s Production Execution Package
Production Execution Package aims to complement Microsoft’s Warehouse Management application for Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management (F&SCM).
The key benefits of the solution are as follows:
- Provides flexibility in over-picking by allowing users to override the quantity as specified in a production order
- Sets thresholds on over-picking for better inventory control
- Records consumed values and tracks differences between the BOM and actual quantity consumed
The Production Execution Package is an extension of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management, built in alignment with Microsoft to cater to customers’ requirements. The solution was built in collaboration with a customer to enable them to meet their requirements depending on different scenarios in the warehouse. STAEDEAN will take care of compatibility of the solution with future versions of Microsoft.
The road ahead for Production Execution Package
The solution incorporates feedback from STAEDEAN’s existing customers and will have more features added over time to fix gaps for manufacturing companies. In the future, the solution will also include a feature for returning items to the warehouse for future consumption.
